What We Offer
New expanded facility offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment, group fitness classes, personal training, nutrition, and a shake bar. In addition, Eastpointe Integrated Healthcare offers chiropractic, physical therapy, massage and acupuncture.
Fitness Center
The new Eastpointe Health & Fitness location includes state-of-the-art fitness equipment, including new cardio equipment, spin studio, four station lifting rack. In addition to the facilities offered at the main gym, Shore Results - a results-focused training studio, that is part of the Eastpointe Health & Fitness group - offers personal training and all-inclusive training memberships. Members get a customized exercise and nutrition plan as well as weekly intensive semi-private coaching sessions and unlimited in-gym coaching whenever they are at the gym. Members are guaranteed results when they commit to as little as two workouts per week.
Group Fitness Classes
Our group fitness classes are what most members say they love about our club, they're the best in the area, and they're free with your gym membership. Below are descriptions of the classes we offer.
Body Sculpt
A low-impact class that is intensive but easy to follow. Utilizes dyna-band resistance bands, stability balls and free weights to tone & sculpt. Focus is in muscular endurance and strength. All levels welcome.
Boot Camp
In this class you will exercise your entire body by going from one exercise to another with no rest. It involves high intensity cardio, killer core, weights and boxing drills. You work hard and burn calories like crazy!.
Piloxing
This is a cardio-fusion class that blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. Add in some dance moves for a fun and empowering experience.
Pound
Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin' out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.
Spin
A high-energy cardiovascular workout on specially designed stationary bikes. Enjoy great music and cycle along with the pack on a simulated course. The spinning program is for everyone at any age and at every level of fitness.
Step
A combination cardio and body sculpting workout using a step to maximize your workout. Adjust the height of your step based on your level of fitness and get a great high-calorie burning aerobic workout.
Stretch & Pilates
This is a combination class of both stretching and exercises based on Joseph Pilates method designed to balance your posture, strengthen your core and elongate your muscles.
Total Body Strength
Full body strength training is the best way to burn bodyfat and build lean muscle. In this class you'll be guided through a great total body workout that trains each movement pattern including core work and conditioning.
Yoga with Alice, Eileen, or Nancy
A creative blend of challenging asanas combined with a powerful Vinyasa flow style. These intense poses are targeted to test your mental strength and physical endurance. This class is designed to raise your heart rate while enjoying a unique experience!
Yoga with Barb
teaches a comprehensive, balanced Prana Vidya yoga class with a steady flow, relaxation between asanas, and guided instruction throughout. Prana Vidya is the meditative style of performing Hatha Yoga asanas and Subtle Body practices taught in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition.
Beginner Yoga
For beginners & experienced students alike, perfect class for relieving stiffness & stress while deepening your awareness of body, mind and spirit. Once a month, near the Full Moon, Barb extends class to include guided relaxation, as well as guided & silent meditation.
Yoga-Pilates
A series of yoga positions designed to balance the body, mind and spirit, while incorporating Pilate's mat-based exercises to strengthen and stretch the core muscles.
Zumba
A form of dance that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms & easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away!
20/20/20
This class combines 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of weight training and 20 minutes of stretching to give you the perfect combination!
Nutrition
