Class Descriptions
Yin/Restorative Yoga class
Relax & Unwind with this Yin/Restorative class. You will be guided to release tension and stress from your body and mind, while you rejuvenate on all levels. Tap into the healing capabilities of your body through rest & relaxation. Props will be provided for you as Kim helps you find your comfortable posture.
Sunrise Yoga
This class awakens and warms the entire body, soften the muscles, open the joints, and stimulate the neurological, circulatory and subtle energetic pathways initiating conscious awareness and synchronization of movement in the breath, body, mind, and spirit.
Foundations
This class is designed to teach the basic principles of yoga in a Down To Earth way for all to enjoy from the ground up. This class will help you build a solid, safe yoga practice. Steady Comfortable postures (Sthira Sukham Asanam).Pranayama (breath work), alignment and relaxation will be offered. This class will guide the student from posture to breath awareness then back to body awareness. At some point the student will be guided slowly into the inner awareness of the thoughts. Class ends with a relaxing meditation.
Hatha Yoga
HathaYoga: Is the most widely practiced form of yoga in America. It is the branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and well being. This class offers the student to connect with the posture, (asanas), breathing techniques and meditation to create a healthy body and clear and peaceful mind.
Yoga I
This class includes foundational postures, pranayama, stretching, balance and relaxation. This practice can also be beneficial to those who already are quite fit but who lack overall flexibility. This class will provide balance and modifications that allow you to make the postures your own experience.
Restorative Yoga
A gentle practice with simple postures to promote healing to the body and mind. This practice includes gentle warm ups, lymphatic stimulation, and restorative poses with props (blocks, bolsters and blankets).
Yin Yoga
This is a slow paced style where the postures are held for longer periods of time. Five minutes or more per pose is typical. Yin gets to the connective tissue levels of the body, the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, in order to increase circulation in the joints and improve joints and flexibility. This class is a more meditative approach to yoga.
Slow Flow Exploration
A fluid practice developing proper asanam alignment and breathing techniques.This class is designed to explore the Vinyasa practice by offering blocks and props to find the Steady comfortable posture. Class builds from the ground up to find the inner body awareness, the breath is the guide as you will be directed back to the breath and body awareness in order to build and hold the asanam. Finding and exploring the edge.This Simple sequencing encourages focus and concentration while building strength and flexibility. This is a great place to start if you're new to a vinyasa practice.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga - The key to right teaching is in the adaptation of yoga to the individual, not the individual to yoga… the whole spectrum of yoga practice must be carefully adapted to the individual's situation. Nothing can be forced. This class offers the student the opportunity to explore and move through a full series of Surya Namaskar to warm the body and become aware of the inner connection. This class is for the student that wants to experience a faster flowing class.
Breath Body Flow
This class begins with a seated pranayama and builds into a powerful dance through asana, aligning each breath with movement.
Beginners Yoga Weekly Program
This 1 hour class is designed to teach the basic principles of Yoga to the newer student.This class will help you build a solid safe Yoga practice with emphasis on proper alignment in postures, breath techniques (pranayama), Yogic Philosphy, meditation and relaxation. Handouts and discussions will be offered during this Yoga program.

Explore the macro and micro alignment principles of the asanas from the foundation up, which can transform your yoga practice and build confidence on and off the mat. For beginners and advanced students.

Gentle Yoga Class (all Levels)
Gentle Class is for those new to the practice of yoga and everyone interested. Includes basic breathwork, practice emphasises a variety of standing, sitting and lying postures. Provides some physical challenge and is a great way to recharge and rejuvenate.
Vinyasa flow
This vinyasa class is a physically challenging class that develops strength, endurance and receptivity. Breath and movement is the focus in this fluid practice. You will be guided into movement based inquires inviting a deeper receptivity to grace in your body and mind. This flowing practice will help purify and awaken your inner artist.
Candelight Yoga (all Levels)
This class is a great way to invite the spiritual mind to your Yoga practice. A Gentle Flow of breath and Postures connecting, the mind, body and spirit as one.This class is open to all levels of Yoga.
Kripalu Yoga Class (all levels)
Moderate Class- This practice includes a variety of foundational postures, with long holding, while including pranayama and meditation. It provides a deep work out along with a healthy restoration through out your body and mind. You are invited to slow down and dive inward through this practice. Bringing the mind into the present moment and strengthening the body/mind connection.
Rise and Align
This class is a systematic approach based on the alignment principles that allows students to learn the techniques for proper alignment, breathing and relaxation. This class is for all students who are ready to lock their attention within the body and concentration on breathing. Hatha yoga trains the mind as well as the body.
Yin Yang
Yin Yang is a Blend of strengthening poses with the last 30 Minutes devoted to supportive Yin poses. This class is a moderate level class with inclusion of props for anyone who is still at the beginner level.
