The start of Dosa Place is from a simple idea driven by a lot of passion. Vijaya Bharati and Radha Krishna Vedulla dreamed to make it big. In 2001 Dosa Place opened very small in a sublet area of a grocery store in the intersection of Newport and El Camino Real as high quality South Indian vegetarian food. By incorporating new business strategies and monitoring the day to day operations with the restaurant, Dosa Place successfully crossed many milestones. By end of 2002 Dosa Place emerged as a new successful Indian Restaurant on Red hill, Tustin. With the continued success, Dosa Place opened another elegant upscale restaurant in Tustin on the Seventeenth Street, with Full bar and banquet facility.
