About Us
Located in the north central portion of Minnesota, Dorset boasts more restaurants per capita than anywhere else in the world. Dorset has a population of 22 people, and within the city limits there are four restaurants serving a variety of food, Italian, Mexican, pizza and Gourmet American cuisine. There are several specialty shops all within walking distance, only one block long the town is hard to get lost in. Don't be fooled by the population, they serve thousands of customers daily. Just one example of the fun and excitement is the reading of their local newspaper The Dorset Daily Bugle which proclaims to be published once a year whether there is news or not. Each season our local 'paper' enlightens visitors to the exciting events occurring in the area and real or contrived, it promises to be a souvenir worth keeping.
