It all began in 1976, a dream Fernando Tarin Sr. always had, and that was to own his own business. Fernando bought a truck, and ventured into a lifelong passion. He went the extra mile, to get the freshest seafood to sell out of the truck. Here he would sell shrimp, fish, and the Ceviche made by his wife, Ana Maria “Cusa” Tarin. Waking up at 4 in the morning, everyday, driving to locations only to be moved by police, He never gave up. Determined to one day open a restaurant. That dream became reality in 1987. Fernando along with his wife, two of his three children, opened Don Fernando’s Fish Market and Restaurant. A small quaint locale, where he continued to sell only the freshest seafood and fish and serve a variety of delicious foods. Here they all worked in unison to make this restaurant have an outpour of success. Two years later, in the same shopping center, a bigger location became available.
