This 45-minute class is a MANDATORY requirement before you can take any other class. It will introduce you to the principles of using aerial hammocks for fitness and flexibility including body alignment, different grips and wraps, transitions, modifications and terminology. You will learn how to safely invert (go upside-down), stand in the fabric, find your balance and execute basic fitness and flexibility moves. No need to be intimidated, everyone in the class will be a beginner just like you! This class is all about fundamentals, it is NOT a workout and it will NOT teach you a bunch of aerial tricks (i.e. it is not a substitute for an aerial party). Phones and cameras are not permitted to be used during the workout, however, you will have five minutes at the end of class to take a photo
