The highest aim of yoga is liberation, therefore a consistent emphasis on strengthening a personal meditation practice threads through every class. We aspire to assist each practitioner in finding harmony between body and mind by moving prana (life energy) and reconnecting to the nurturing feminine principle of creative energy that is lying dormant in the body. Inspirational teachings are derived from sources as varied as The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Vedic scriptures, Shamanism, Buddhism, Rumi, or any material bringing clarity which ceases the rampant cycling of thoughts clouding perception. Smaller class sizes lend themselves to close personal attention given to every student.

Our philosophy and approach to yoga stems from a healing tradition first and foremost. Our teachers are committed to passing along the knowledge of ancient practices to empower students with tools enabling them to become whole again with nature- the great Mother of all creation. As we heal ourselves, the Earth heals. We promote the teachings of yoga as a path of re-discovery leading us back to our true identity rather than attaining the perfect beach body. Our safety-first approach is geared towards a practice that can be sustained for life by approaching each movement through self-embodiment (mind, body and spirit).
