Thermal Straightening with OPTI-SMOOTH

This is a permanent smoothing system for extra curly and frizzy hair. If you are ready to control your curls, this service is for you. The hot smooth straightens hair by using the opti-smooth magic formula and the flat iron. This process may take up to 3 hours, but your straight, silky, shiny hair is well worth it! If you still want to keep some of your curl you may "opt" for the cold smooth, which will relax tight curls into a looser, wavier curl. This way you can still have your curls without the frizz!

Brazilian Blowout

Pricing starts at $285, but requires consultation for exact pricing

The Brazilian Blowout is the most innovative and effective professional smoothing treatment in the world!

Through the use of a Brazilian Super Nutrient Complex and a proprietary polymer system

The Brazilian Blowout actually improves the condition of the hair by creating a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle

The end result is smooth, healthy, conditioned hair with radiant shine.

What to Expect

You will leave the salon in approximately 90 minutes with beautiful, smooth, healthy radiant hair! When you arrive at the salon, the process is as follows

Stylist will shampoo your hair with the Brazilian Blowout specially formulated Anti-Residue

Professional Shampoo to prepare your hair for the optimal smoothing result

After towel drying

Your certified Brazilian Blowout stylist will divide your hair into sections and begin to comb the Brazilian Blowout Professional Treatment through each section of the hair from root to tip; lightly dusting each section with the solution

Solution will surround each hair shaft with protective protein layers to smooth and flatten the cuticle.

Stylist will then blow-dry your hair as straight as possible with a flat or round brush.

Once the hair is dry, the Stylist will divide the hair into four sections and begin using a flat iron to further straighten the hair in 2-3 inch sections.

Once complete, the Stylist will rinse the hair (no shampoo), towel-dry and apply the Brazilian Blowout Masque to further seal in the professional formulation.

After 60 seconds, the stylist will rinse the hair once again and towel dry

The Stylist will then apply the Brazilian Blowout Smoothing Serum to further seal the cuticle and assist in detangling the hair prior to the final blow dry.

The Stylist will then blow dry the hair straight one final time and style as desired.

Bobbie Keese, Master Designer

Bobbie has been involved in the beauty industry in Chapel Hill for 20 years. She has developed a large clientele through superior customer service and an ongoing passion to consistently improve her technique and knowledge. This is also a trait that she has instilled in each one of her stylists by having continuing education classes held at Destenee. The beauty industry is always changing. Better products and newer techniques are constantly evolving and Bobbie makes sure that she and the rest of the staff at Destenee are always up on the latest trends. Bobbie's experience is well rounded and can achieve almost any look, but her two favorite areas in the hair business are color and bridal hairstyles. Bobbie is well known in the hair community for her technical knowledge in hair color formulation and application. She has a true talent and passion for creating spectacular up-dos. These areas of the business allow for the most creativity and allow the stylist to showcase their artistic abilities. Destenee's Bridal Parties have drawn national recognition from Launchpad Magazine!

Hamza Ramadanovic, Designer

Hamza is the son of Bobbie and like his mother, he has proven to have an extraordinary talent for the hair industry. He attended the Emerald Academy, A Paul Mitchell Partner School and graduated at the top of his class. He was heavily recruited while in school and did hair for several fashion shows. He has already received two endorsements to join the JPMS Team. Hamza's passion lies in the Cut and he excels at every aspect. He can obtain a professional, everyday look or a fun, modern and funky cut. He is great with color and highlights, but don't ask him for a manicure or pedicure. Hey, we all have our weaknesses!
