As in the creation of our beers, the menu at the Deschutes Brewery Pubs reflects the constant exploration and discovery of new ways of doing things. We focus on natural, sustainable fare that is locally sourced and house-made. Our seasonal produce, fish, and meats ensure the best possible flavors and experience to our guests. With that in mind, various items on our menu could change from day to day, but we assure you that we'll always offer you the best possible food experience.

Pan style with truffle oil, roasted garlic, fresh herbs, Mozzarella and Parmesan with a side of red sauce.

Brew House Nachos
Creamy cheese sauce, seasoned black beans, rojo sauce, cilantro-lime cream, tomatillo, avocado guacamole and pico de gallo.
Salads & Soups
Our soups are carefully crafted, our salads freshly tossed, and all dressings are made in house including Fresh Squeezed Vinaigrette, chunky Bleu Cheese, Herbed Ranch, Avocado Vinaigrette, or Inversion IPA Caesar. Add grilled Alaskan Coho salmon ($6) or grilled chicken breast ($5) to any of our salads.

Fresh Pacific Coast cod dipped in our Mirror Pond Pale ale batter and rolled in Japanese bread crumbs. Served with house-cut pub fries, caper tartar sauce, and malted coleslaw.
Dry Aged Ribeye Steak
Oregon Valley Natural ribeye roasts are dry-aged in our kitchen for up to 28 days resulting in a rich, concentrated flavor profile. Grilled to order, served with roasted fingerling potatoes, chimichurri sauce, and fresh seasonal vegetables.
Blackened NY Steak
8-oz blackened NY steak, Black Butte Porter braised potatoes with Rogue blue cheese, micro greens.
Served with your choice of house-cut locally grown pub fries, side salad, cup of soup, or coleslaw. Borlen Cattle Company provides us with beef that is naturally raised in Alfalfa, Oregon on grass and spent grain. All of our burgers come dressed with tomato, onion, and lettuce. Every sandwich is served on bread made by our staff of talented bakers. Our burgers are cooked to order. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, pultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodbourne illness. Dress it up! Choose your favorites for 1.50 each. Tillamook sharp cheddar, gruyere, smoked provolone, sliced jalapeno, shallots, fried egg, goat cheese, smoky bleu cheese, roasted mushrooms, giardiniera, applewood bacon, candied bacon, or avocado.

Carrot cake with orange cardamom cream cheese mousse, pineapple compote and caramel sauce garnished with candied orange and ginger.
Chocolate Chunk Deep Dish Cookie
Warm gooey cookie topped with crumbled potato chips, vanilla ice cream, chocolate & caramel sauce with toffee almond bits.

Black Butte Porter
With a dark beer as our flagship brand, Black Butte Porter defined Deschutes Brewery as a radical player in a developing craft scene. A slight hop bitterness up front enhances the distinctive chocolate and roasted finish. It's prized for its creamy mouthfeel and intense complex flavors. IBUs: 30 / ABV: 5.2%
Mirror Pond Pale Ale
Mirror Pond Pale Ale is the quintessential northwest pale ale. Cascade hops and more cascade hops give this tawny colored ale delicious hop-forward aroma and flavor. Pale malt allows the hops to linger, not overpower. IBUs: 40 / ABV: 5%
Bachelor Bitter is a well-rounded traditional style english pub ESB that is only available on tap at our pubs. Its full-flavored perfection comes from crystal malts, providing caramelized and toasted sugar notes, and generous amounts of English and domestic hops. IBUs: 50 / ABV: 5.3%
Fresh Squeezed IPA
This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don't worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer. IBUs: 60 / ABV: 6.4%
Pacific Wonderland Lager
A crisp, light lager with hop notes of tangerine and herbal spice. German lager meets American style hop flavor and aroma. IBUs: 37 / ABV: 5.5%

Wayfarer Sour Cider
Walking and talking cider in an 86 year old Oregon apple orchard, we, alongside the orchardist, hand selected varieties and developed a proprietary blend with distinct acid and tannin structure. Through experimentation and selection we developed a unique sour cider which utilizes five apple varieties, and spontaneous fermentation with the wild yeast from the apples. ABV 6.2%
Two cask conditioned beers are always on tap.
Black Butte Whiskey
Black Butte Whiskey is not your simple, western, cowboy whiskey. It's a sipper, not a shooter. Aged 3 years in new American oak barrels, the result retains the malty, chocolatey notes of Black Butte Porter and gains woody, earthy flavors from the oak. This collaboration between Deschutes Brewery and Bendistillery has created a liquid intended to be timeless in taste in appreciation. Only available at the Deschutes pubs; Neat or on the rocks.
Gluten Free Ale
Brewed with gluten free ingredients! We used rice, honey, and Belgian candied syrup, then generously hopped it with Cascade, Nugget, and Crystal varieties. Crisp and light bodied with citrus hops, a hint of honey, and a refreshing, tart finish.

About the Pub
Bend’s original brewpub, Deschutes Brewery’s Bond Street Public House has been a vibrant fixture of the downtown scene since 1988. Not only were our very first beers brewed here – think Black Butte Porter and Jubelale – but we quickly became a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. While the beer speaks for itself through a total of 19 taps, our chefs also put the same quality and hand-crafted excellence into the cuisine. Our beer-centric menu features fresh ingredients, many sourced from local farmers, foragers and ranchers with whom the team has built strong relationships over the years. Most menu items are hand-crafted from scratch whenever possible, including sauces, sausage, breads, pizza dough and pasta. Several items are made with spent grain from the brewing process and beef burgers come from locally farmed cattle which are grass fed and finished on the spent grain. A classic English pub atmosphere, with a distinctly Oregon twist, come visit us and see where it all began.
