Thank you for visiting CYBERCAFE. My name is Evan Galbraith and I started this business over 10 years ago. Throughout the years, I have learned a great deal about being an entrepreneur and running a small business. When the Internet boom began, I was intrigued by a similar idea in London England called CYBERIA, which as far as I know was the very first Internet café. Back then nothing existed in New York, but several individuals like myself were busy raising money and developing the same concept for the Big Apple. In June 1995, when we opened our first location on the corner of Prince and Lafayette Streets, two other Internet cafes had also opened in the East Village. Today, there are thousands of Internet cafes and hot spots all over the world and the demand for public Internet access keeps growing geometrically.
