Parent-Tot 2019
Time: 9:30am - 10:15am. Parent assists the child through class. Basic locomotor skills and basic gymnastics skills taught with physical guidance from both the instructor and the parent. Students have an interactive warm up, floor circuit with a vault aspect included with age appropriate equipment and structure, and a rotation of beam and bars depending on the week. Students typically end with a fun learning activity such as trampoline, tumble track or Pit.

Strength and agility are tested through obstacle courses and various training techniques. A progressive level system evaluated and advances children on their skill and knowledge of core values as described in the NinjaZone Creed. The levels of NinjaZone are defined by the headband colors of White, Yellow, Green, and Blue.

Time: 6:30pm - 7:25pm. Tumbling class for students that have already mastered certain tumbling skills. Students must be tested into this class or be moved from the beginner tumbling. This is a 55 minute class that has a 15 min warm up, rotations on the floor, tumble track and trampoline. Students will work on connecting skills into tumbling passes, standing back handsprings/back tucks, and group tumbling.

Time: 5:30pm - 6:55pm. Intermediate classes are designed for the student that has already mastered basic gymnastics skills. Students receive a warm up, two thirty minute rotations at events and a ten minute strength and conditioning period mixed in with a fun learning activity like trampoline or tumble track. Students must have a backbend kickover on floor, a pullover on bars, run hurdle jump on vault, and side handstand on beam before moved to the intermediate class or to test into. This class is offered as a 1x and 2x a week option. 2X a week students will have all four events for thirty minutes each week. 1x a week students will alternate events and have all four apparatus every two weeks.

Crystal Coast Gymnastics is proud to be Morehead City's only fully equipped gymnastics facility. We can truly claim to have the most state-of-the-art facility in the local area, complete with a foam pit for tumbling, bars, and vaulting. We are proud to have the largest, best-trained instructional and coaching staff in Carteret County. From preschool instructors through our team coaches, our staff are well-trained and passionate about kids and gymnastics. We offer training to gymnasts of all levels. From parent-tot and preschool to beginner through advanced, we have it all! Our competitive program includes both Junior Olympics as well as XCel athletes, ensuring there is a place for every competitive gymnast. Our owner/management team is actively involved in all aspects of the program including instruction, curriculum development, staff supervision, equipment maintenance and day-to-day operation.
