Featuring members of Achilles Wheel, this is a unit which holds nothing back when breathing new life into some of the most beloved songs ever written
When: Saturday, November 26 @ 9:30 PM. This San Diego jamband is one of the hottest up-and-coming acts in the country. Each time they've played here, they've left the crowd with jaws agape. Their signature fusion of high-octane rock, groove-funk, speed jazz, swanky hip-hop and So Cal reggae is something to marvel over. They have a keen sense of showmanship, thoughtful lyrics, deep grooves and ears for improvisation. An awe-inspiring light show is an added bonus. At some point you'll be able to say: "I saw Brothers Gow when they played the Crazy Horse."
Reed Mathis and Electric Beethoven
When: Sunday, November 27 @ 9:30 PM. Hatched from the visionary (and delightfully demented) mind of bass pioneer Reed Mathis (Billy [Kreutzmann] & The Kids, Tea Leaf Green, Steve Kimock and Friends, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey), this project embodies the genesis of a new musical genre - CDM (classical dance music). This entirely fresh improvisational journey is built upon the foundation of Beethoven's symphonies which have been rearranged by Mathis. The band incorporates funky, dance-inducing flourishes while channeling the essence of Ludwig's original intention from centuries ago. The result is sure to boggle the mind and enrapture the synapses. Fellow intrepid travelers include drummer Jay Lane (Primus, Further, Ratdog, Doobie Decibel System), keyboardist Todd Stoops (Kung Fu, Raq) and young guitar phenom Clay Welch. Behold the dawn of a new musical era! http://www.reedmathis.com/

The Crazy Horse Saloon & Grill is now a full-service restaurant, well-stocked sports bar, concert venue and Nevada City's only seven-day, late night eatery. Putting even more energy into the kitchen than the cocktails, food at the Crazy Horse is no afterthought. This isn't your average bar grub. In addition to classic appetizers, our patrons adore quasi-gourmet morsels like hand-breaded zucchini sticks, stuffed jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon and a smoked salmon plate. Using a half-pound of all-natural Niman Ranch beef, our burgers are a specialty. Catering to all palates, we also offer salmon burgers or handmade, soy-free veggie patties.
