About Us
The Corner Bar & Grill was founded in the fall of 2002 but its spirit dates back to the 1930’s when the building at the corner of McKinney Ave and Monticello was built. The structure originally housed 3 separate businesses: a grocery store, an automotive repair shop and, allegedly, a speakeasy.
Over the years, the neighborhood evolved into the densely populated urban residential, retail, restaurant and commercial center it is today. Over these many years the businesses at 4830 McKinney have remained a steady and reliable part of the neighborhood.
