About Us
he Cocopalm Restaurant served both Cuban food in a formal dinning setting. Since Cuban food is inherently the fusion of Spanish and Caribbean food, you will notice several dished reflective of both regions. Our menus change slightly depending of the time of the year, in order to maintain the freshest ingredients seasonally. Also, we love to take suggestions from our best critic, our customers. The meal would consist of plantains, black beans and rice, ropa vieja (beef), pork with onions, milk and tropical fruits. Black beans and rice, called "moros y cristianos," or “congris” and plantains are staples of the Cuban diet. Much of the meat dishes are slow cooked with light sauces. Garlic, cumin, oregano and bay leaves are the dominant spices.
