Dog Sled Tour
Duration: 3 hours; $524; Have you been barking on and on about needing some adventure in your life? Coastal Helicopters has just the thing! Kick off your adventure by flying over the Juneau Icefield to a dog camp! When you arrive at your destination, you'll meet 80 Alaskan huskies and hear unique personal accounts of the Iditarod and backcountry experiences. You can also dress in the original Iditarod Trail dog sled gear and finishing bibs and take photos! Following that, you'll be hooked up to a team of 12 to 14 dogs for a genuine mushing experience. You'll ride across the ancient snowfields among the peaks of the Juneau Icefield. You'll have the choice of riding the runners, or being seated on the sled during your dogsled ride. Taku Glacier Adventure By Air, Water & Ice
Duration: 3.5 hours; $585; Alaska, can you imagine a better way to spend a day than with a glacial adventure?! First, you'll take off on a helicopter flight towards gorgeous Taku River. The ride features spectacular views of ice capped mountains, hanging glaciers and deep crevasses. After you've arrived at the tour base, you'll head out on a Taku River airboat excursion that puts you up close and personal with some of the greatest sights Alaska has to offer! Along the way, you'll receive historical information to enhance your adventure and understanding of the area. Once your tour of the Taku River and Watershed is completed, you'll be brought back to the airboat base and see the gorgeous glaciers before reboarding the helicopter and taking a flight over the water to Taku Glacier! Your pilot will show you key glacial features like crevasses, moulins, blue ice, and ice falls. Walking on the glacier will be an experience unlike any other! Juneau this is a must-see experience!

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to a scheduled tour will be refunded in full. Cancellations made 4 - 7 days prior to a scheduled tour will be charged a 50% fee. Cancellations within 4 days will not be refunded. If Coastal Helicopters cancels a flight due to weather, cruise ship, or flight delay, and is unable to reschedule to a later time, a full refund with be issued. Decisions to fly are at the discretion of Coastal Helicopters, Inc.
