About Us
The Chocolate Factory opened it's doors in May of 1972 By October of the same year, the exclusively ice cream shop, added the now famous subs to the menu. Not long after it was opened, the owners decided they needed something to distinguish themselves. While the Chocolate factory had always made it's own hot fudge, Blommer decided to take a food science course at the university so they could make their own very high quality ice cream...The rest is history.
