The Silva family invites you to taste the original flavor of authentic Mexican food. Owners Guillermo and Laila met in Mexico City. Guillermo was born and raised in Mexico eating these traditional dishes made from scratch by his grandmother, mother, and aunts. Laila, originally from Chicago, moved to Mexico City with her family in the early 80's and there she learned how to prepare these flavorful dishes at family gatherings. Having moved to Orlando 11 years ago from Mexico, they found that there was no restaurant where they could find that home cooked taste that there own family was accustomed to and there came the idea to start Chilangos.
