Mosaic Jewelry Workshop

Duration: 3 hours; $90. You've never tried your hand at mosaics before? It's time to get in on a piece of the action! Mosaic jewelry is all the rage in fashion magazines and boutiques. In this three hour workshop you will create something to express your personal, one-of-a-kind sense of fashion. Students will make two finished mosaic pendants that are embellished using wonderful studio materials (glass, stone, millefiori). This workshop at CMS is a fun opportunity to make something lasting and special. Smalti Intensive Workshop

Duration: 7 hours; $225. Raise your glasses! Chicago Mosaic School now has a workshop devoted to Smalti! Learn how to cut and set glass mosaic tiles using contemporary methods during a full-day workshop at CMS. In this intensive class you'll learn about a millennia-old art form that has seen a resurgence because of modern glass tile technologies. Discussions of design, color, texture and composition will enhance your grasp and performance of the art over the course of the day. WARNING: Smalti Intensive Workshop may be addictive and Chicago Mosaic School is one of the few treatment centers that addresses this affliction!

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds (100%) will only be granted 28 days or more before the start date of the course. 75% Refund - between 27 and 21 days before the start date of the course. 50% Refund - between 20 and 14 days before the start date of the course. 25% Refund - between 13 and 7 days before the start date of the course. No refunds will be given for cancellations made 6 days of less before the start date of the course. Any fees that The Chicago Mosaic School must incur due to a refund, i.e., Paypal, will be deducted from the individual refund amount.
