"Candela Candela" is a Cuban-Italian Restaurant and a Mojito Bar. It gets it's name from the award winning documentary " BUENA VISTA Social Club". Since its opening in May of 2007, in the East Village, it has made a strong name for itself.
Candela Candela has 2 chefs working the kitchen. One chef from Cuba, specializing in the Cuban cuisine. One chef from Italy, specializing in the Italian Cuisine. Thus creating cuisines consiting of Tropical salads all the way to Gnocchi and Risoto.
