Our restaurant is named for "Riversdale", the Calvert Mansion located in the town of Riverdale, Prince Georges County. The Mansion was built from 1801 to 1803 by Henri Joseph Stier of Belgium and is a National Historic Landmark.
This magnificent Federal structure became the home of his daughter, Rosalie Eugenia, who married George Calvert, grandson of the fifth Lord Baltimore.
