Partners Lisa Vaccaro and Chef Abby Harmon opened Caiola’s Restaurant November 11th 2005 in Portland’s West End. Their philosophy is simple: Create an atmosphere where friends, family and neighbors can come together and celebrate. Whether it be life’s milestones, or just sharing a meal created by Abby, utilizing the finest, freshest ingredients available. Caiola’s prides itself on using local farms such as Laughing Stalk, Caldwell, Apple Tree, Sunset Acres, Harbor Fish, and Upstream, just to name a few. Caiola’s family begins with its name, which comes from Lisa’s great grandfather Augustino Caiola of Napoli.
