The two, who hail from Rome, have been running the restaurant, located in the sleepy beach
town of Playa del Rey, for eleven years now, making locals and beyond, happy with daily
specials, hand-tossed pizzas, homemade bread, delicious pastas and a number of simply
prepared chicken, fish and veal dishes. Caffé Pinguini’s outdoor patio is a popular choice for fans of al fresco dining. With seating for 50 and plenty of heat lamps, it’s a great choice for either a lunch with the girls, a business dinner or a great solo escape. The interior feels roomy, with plenty of space in between the tables. At night, with the lights down and candles lit, the restaurant’s washed walls project a welcoming hue of copper while the beautiful frescos add to this authentic Italian dining
