About Us
Located in Dunsmuir's historic district, Café Maddalena attracts locals and tourists alike with its warm ambiance and fresh Mediterranean cuisine. This bistro-style restaurant features dishes from Spain, France, Italy and North Africa that please both the eye and the palate.
At the helm is chef/owner Brett LaMott, a veteran of some of San Francisco's finest establishments. He cooks in an open kitchen overlooking the rustic wood-paneled dining room and small wine bar. His seasonal menu and daily specials use ingredients chosen for their authenticity, quality and freshness. The wine list includes great value Spanish, French and Italian labels from small, artisanal producers. Each bottle was selected to compliment the cuisine and represent the diverse varietals that are cultivated in the wine regions surrounding the western Mediterranean.
