About Us
Owner Ciska Weber opened the shop last year and began serving up smooth, tasty scoops of gelato. What is gelato? It is Italy's version of ice cream. It has less butterfat and a higher density and is served a tad bit warmer. Cafe Gelato has nine varieties, from fruity to coffee-flavored. It also serves such coffee drinks as cappuccinos and lattes. Weber, a native of Holland, has been in the restaurant business for 15 years and felt it was time to add a European flair to the local dessert palates.
