Chef Herve Bochard left France in 1985, and opened Cafe Les Baux a year later with the help of his wife in Millbrook. Today, Cafe Les Baux is recognized as one of New York’s best restaurants, and has won several local diners’ awards. Herve Bochard began cooking at a young age, and left school early to pursue a career as a chef. After traveling the world for several years, he returned to his native France to open his first restaurant with his wife. After attaining international acclaim preparing fine dining in France, the Bochards moved to the United States to share their eclectic Frence cuisine with Millbrook residents. At Cafe Les Baux we follow strict standards on service, quality and presentation.
