The birth of CB’s Caribbean Spot begun in 1982, when founder Carlton Bryce came to the United States. Like many of us who migrated from home, CB longed for the delightful taste of Ackee & Salt fish, Oxtail, Curry Goat and of course, Rice & Peas; CB missed the taste of home. Sure there were Jamaican restaurants that promised to satisfy the hunger for genuine Jamaican Cuisine, but even so, there was always something missing. Out of his desire for authentic “home” cooking, the idea of CB’s Caribbean Spot was born.
