Duration: 1 hour; Free; Jujitsu is the martial art form of choice for competitors wanting to be prepared to take on opponents who might be larger and/or stronger than them. Its principles, which this class will cover thoroughly, focus less on the use of strikes and pure physical strength, and instead narrow in on maximized force using mechanical techniques such as leverage, joint-locks, and chokeholds. During your introductory lesson, you will begin learning dojo etiquette, basic conditioning, and defense techniques in a clean and safe environment. This is the perfect chance to try out this combination of martial art and combat sport to improve your physical fitness, agility, and ability to defend yourself in the real world.
