Bruno's has been an institution in New Orleans since the days of prohibition. Situated on three corners of Maple and Hillary since 1934, Bruno's has returned to its original address, with a new building, and much more fun to offer. A four year project by the Melius family has resulted in its current setting, placed to carry on Leo Bruno's tradition of bringing fun and camaraderie to his patrons. Bruno's Tavern was the original home of the "B.B.B." (Babbling Bastards of Bruno's), an old carnival organization with many years of history. Great moments in local sports history, from Tulane's perfect season to the Saint's first division title are immortalized on the walls. You can watch your favorite game on one of 11 High Def televisions or two Jumbo screens, or play a game of shuffleboard, darts, pool, or golf. There are twenty draft taps and plenty more bottled beer to choose from served by some of the best bartenders in town. Come taste the Boudreaux Fries, Debris Po-boy, Firecracker Salad, or the best hamburger in town. We promise to fill your every need. We can do parties for groups of 50 to 250 people. If you grew up in New Orleans, you have probably been to Bruno's sometime in your life. If not, you better visit soon.
