Get to know your serger! In this one-day serger course you'll learn all the skills needed to operate a home overlock sewing machine also known as a serger.
Sewing: Long Winter Coat
Students will learn how to make their very own winter coat. This knee-length coat will keep you warm for winters to come and can be customized with your favorite colors, collar style and sleeve length. The coat is lined and the class will cover basic modifications for custom fit, adding pockets and detailing too.
Learn how to knit! We'll teach you everything you need to know to make a scarf or another basic project. Skills include: casting on, knitting, purling, binding off, a few pattern stitches, and problem-solving. Materials: 1 skein worsted yarn (Malabrigo or Lamb's Pride), #7 or #8 US knitting needles, darning needle or crochet hook.

After School Knit-Along
Kids learn the basics of knitting or take their skills to the next level in the fun 4-week after school knit-along for ages 7-12. They'll learn basic knitting skills including how to cast on, knit purl and bind off.
