Our primary procedure for carpet cleaning is to use "Hot Water Extraction" (sometimes called stream cleaning) method with a truck-mounted unit.

We have truck mounted units and use the method of Hot Water Extraction. (Most people refer to this method as Steam Cleaning.) This method is the deepest, most thorough cleaning available and is recommended by the carpet manufacturers. We hook up our hoses to an outside water source and generate our own heat with a gas fueled engine. With this method, hot water kills the bacteria on contact while a powerful vacuum extracts the dirt, dander, allergens and other environmental pollutants from deep within the carpet fibers.

Oriental & Area Rug Cleaning

Your rugs are precious - don't trust them to just anyone. Brightway takes pride in our knowledge of specialty fibers found in area rugs made in every part of the world. We only clean area rugs at our facility. This allows us to give a much more thorough cleaning and to monitor the drying process of each rug. We inspect each rug and test for colorfast before we clean. Our professional rug technician always cleans the top side of the rug twice and the back side once. However, some rugs require extra cleanings when the dirt and other products previously used on the rug are deeply embedded. We also have an advanced formulated process that guarantees the removal of pet urine from your rugs. We don't just mask it with deodorizers. There is an extra charge if your rug requires this process.

STORING RUGS

Things to consider: Never store rugs in plastic, they need to breath. We offer to wrap rugs in brown paper for storage, just ask & we will be happy to do this for you. Storing rugs in the Texas heat (such as non air conditioned storage units, garages & attics) can dry rot the backing & discolor the fibers. We suggest storing them in a/c. We offer to store your rug for short periods of time, we just ask the bill is paid when the rugs are done being cleaned. We clean rugs in a climate controlled environment. When they are done & ready for pick up or delivery they are stored in our office which is air conditioned. We never store or co-mingle dirty rugs with clean rugs.

PET URINE REMOVAL

We offer a flushing treatment for rugs that helps eliminates urine problems. (There is a additional fee for the treatment).

SPECIALITY RUGS

Long Shag Rug are in a category of themselves, We have found money, earrings, straight pins, bullets/bb's, nuts & bolts, and dog turds. With these types of rugs we suggest a good beating of the rug. Vacuuming just gets surface debris, beating or shaking will get the deep down debris out.

Tile and Grout Cleaning

Grout lines are porous like sponges. They absorb liquids, dirt, mildew, bacteria, cleaning chemical residue and other contaminants. The most common cause for discolored grout is mopping. When you mop, you are using clean water the first time you put the mop into the water. Every time after that, the mop goes into water that is not clean, therefore you are now mopping with dirty water. If the liquid is clear, the grout will return to the original color when it dries. If the liquid is dark or deep colored such as coffee, tea, or red wine or Kool-Aid the grout will be stained. The longer the liquid sits, the deeper into the grout it will go and become permanent.

We have the latest technology and equipment on the market specifically for tile and grout cleaning.

We clean with a high pressure water and vacuum system which is great for removing embedded dirt, food, cleaning residue, etc. However, stains can be difficult if not impossible to be removed and therefore we can't guarantee they will come out. We recommend sealing all tile & grout after cleaning.

We will need extra carpet from the original installation or we can cut a small section from a closet if needed. The reason for this is because you want to match carpet from the same dye lot so the patch will not stand out as much. Keep in mind, carpet that is rarely walked on when used as a patch may still stand out. Another service we provide is the transition from carpet to hard surface flooring. Good: Very professional, beginning with appointment setup. Offer carpet repair as well as cleaning. On time. Carpet repair technician, Kevin I believe, arrived early so I didn't meet him in person, but gave me the details by phone to allow me as home owner to make an educated decision about the repair. Joe the cleaning technician (met in person on property) took the time to explain the process and was personable and professional. Tenants happy with the results, nearly completely removed two noticeable stains. Carpet is 8 year old Berber, very light color so my expectations weren't very high but the carpet was noticeably cleaner. You can get a referral discount. All the machinery is in the van, so only the hoses go through the house. Detailed invoice, rooms + stairs + hallway + optional stain guard calculated separately. I added stain guard to the job since I received a good referral discount. Bad: Not that "bad," but Brightway didn't inform me that repair tech would arrive earlier, prior to cleaning appointment to do estimate and/or repair. I was off property but my tenants were home, but would like to have been able to see him in person. Suggest they notify the customer at time of scheduling.

I must say I was very impressed with the excellent service. My carpets were overdue for a cleaning and the technician who cleaned my carpet went above and beyond the call of duty. My carpets smell fresh and they look almost new. Also, I was prepared for the service because they sent me an email with instructions on how to prepare my house for carpet cleaning. I gave my floors a good vacuuming and I moved small items and breakables off furniture that I wanted cleaning done around and under. The technician did the rest. I also pinned up my floor-length drapes so he could clean without fear of damage to them. When he was done, Kevin put my living room and dining room furniture on styrofoam blocks and gave me clear instructions to not remove them until the carpet was completely dry. I will definitely call them again and give referrals to my friends.
