Yoga at Boone Studio - How we do it
Join the trend towards more balanced Yoga Classes between effort and rest. The need to balance our yoga practice between effort and rest is finally catching on. Perhaps because more and more people feel stretched out to their limits, and over scheduled. We at Boone feel the same and that any good workout regiment has to include a time to restore your balance and reconnect with yourself. Our classes are designed just for that; to balance the Yang (sun, active, energetic) and Yin (moon, intuitive, restorative) aspects of ourselves. Our classes strike a good balance between being an active Vinyasa flow class that builds strength and heat in the body (Yang) and a more restorative and seated yoga class (Yin) that is meant to calm and release your built up stress. They weave together standing heat generating poses with deep longer held stretches (Yin) getting into the connective tissue and healing from within. Our classes are great for when you are feeling over worked or stretched thin in your daily life. Leave feeling balanced, stretched and renewed!

What is Vinyasa Yoga?
What is Vinyasa Yoga? This is a style of yoga that links breath and movement through a nimble sequence of Sun Salutations and postures. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases endurance, and will test your balance and flexibility. Vinyasa Flow classes include a quiet period of concentration to help your mind calm and let your body absorb the stillness. Each Vinyasa Yoga class is inspired from the teacher's own practice and training they are unified by basic principles of breath and alignment. Vinyasa Yoga is a sequence of postures that moves at a moderate tempo. It is guided by the breath, safe and soft transitions from one pose to the other. Dive into the energetic quality of breath with fluid movement, and explore heat building pulsations combined with dynamic postures to cultivate strength, flexibility and balance throughout the entire body. Explore the relationship between the breath and the posture and how that affects your state of mind. Find stillness and escape from the noise of everyday life. Classic Pilates, with some funk! If you are looking to develop core strength look no further than Pilates.
It is a great class for men and women equally. It is one of the most comprehensive and safe systems out there that has been tested for more than 50 years to harness your core and alignment of you back and hips. It improves flexibility, strength, and body awareness, without building bulk. Key elements of Pilates are core muscle strength and spinal alignment. The exercises focus on spine, abdomen, pelvis, hips, and the muscles that support these structures. At Boone we follow the classic Pilates method but add a little creativity with our tools. We use balls, bands, weights and the barre in our Pilates Barre and Band Classes to challenge your core and strength. Our Pilates classes flow from one exercise to the other seamlessly. You will develop strength, balance and flexibility. Pilates adds definition to the legs, hips, core and glutes. It's the original mat work with more funk!
Barre Yoga

Expect 20 to 25 min of Powerful Vinyasa Flow to warm up and get the juices flowing followed by 25 min of Alignment
based Standing Barre Yoga work, and 15 min Seated Restorative Barre Yoga and 10 min Savasana.
Barre Yoga is designed for alignment junkies.
It uses the ballet Barre to stretch, lengthen and strengthen every micrometer of your body. You've never really done a warrior three until you've done it at the barre. It is a comprehensive practice that teaches proper alignment principles with the aid of the barre. The barre will give you traction in every pose and a reference point. Other props such as blocks and straps are used. This class is Open Level. Beginners and advanced students can equally benefit and enjoy this class!

Barre classes at Boone Studio are a complete and full workout. They are creative, upbeat, dynamic and fun. We use bands, weights, gliding discs, and Pilates rings to workout all the muscle groups in different ways. Our Barre classes are a true fusion of ballet, yoga, pilates and body sculpting.

Get Hooked on Barre! Leave your tutus at home, but get the same effective workout of a dancer at the ballet barre.
You will begin to see results in a matter of few weeks when you come regularly.
Barre uses exercises inspired from ballet, Pilates body sculpting and even Yoga.
Boone's Barre classes are detailed and layered with precision yet they are dynamic and fluid. You will work and sculpt your glutes, thighs, hips, abs, arms, chest, back and muscles you never knew existed. Prepare to work hard and catch your breath between sets.
Time will pass fast as we move quickly through the exercises targeting each muscle groups
from different angles and in different ways that will keep you on your toes and prevent you from getting bored. We follow basic formulas yet change the content periodically to keep you challenged. Alternating exercises layered with precision and stretching, you will use a number of different tools other than your own body weight. Our studio is equipped with weighted gloves, weights in all denominations, balls, tubes, and different types of stretch bands for resistance. The class will sculpt, strengthen and lift your body while giving you the grace and elegance any dancer would be jealous of. This class is an Open level class. Variations will be given to suit your ability.

Love your Barre
Love your Barre… miss the Cardio? Cardio Barre uses a combination of ballet inspired movements with HIIT Interval training, light weights, resistance bands and tubes to sculpt and strengthen the entire body. It is a true fusion of ballet, Pilates and body sculpting. Vardio Barre uses Dynamic Movement. Dynamic Movement means you are moving your upper body and lower body at the same time. You burn more fat in cardio barre than any other barre class due to the dynamic movement, and use of the HIIT to keep you working at your optimum. You have to be prepared to work hard and sweat! Cardio Barre is an interval based workout that will get your heart pumping by its quick movements alternating between slow pulses to faster more dynamic ranges of motion. You will generate enough heat through movement to stand in your own puddle of sweat. This dynamic workout will help you develop the grace of a dancer with the lean look of an athlete.

TRX Express
TRX is a full body strength workout that utilizes the body's own weight. Comparable to a simple version of Pilates reformer or anti gravity yoga. TRX offers a total body workout centered on your core and you own body weight. The two suspension straps offer an infinite number of exercises that help with balance, strength and flexibility. It is great for both fitness junkies, not to mention those always on the go.

What do you need for your first class?

Boone Starters are Memberships that Expire Monthly. They involve a 6 months commitment. They are great for people who enjoy being committed to their routine – taking classes between 1x to 3x /week. At Boone Studio, we reward the commitment you are willing to make towards your health and wellness by making the price per class a bargain that you do not want to miss! The price per class ranges between $11 to $15 per class. You can freeze up to two times for a maximum period of 2 weeks within a 6 months period.
