Girls Gymnastics
Ages 5 and up. 5 yrs. old +. Our recreational girls gymnastics program is coached by several of our experienced coaches, and classes are divided by age and skill level. This program offers classes ranging from new beginner to our competitive teams. The girls involved in these classes will learn gymnastics skills and develop good discipline, as well as, increase their learning ability. These classes are designed to teach skills, build self-esteem, and have fun in a positive safe learning environment. The girls will learn all four olympic events--vault, bars, beam & floor plus trampoline.
Boys Gymnastics
Ages 5 and up. Our recreational boys gymnastics program is coached by several of our experienced coaches, and classes are divided by age and skill level. The boys involved in these classes will learn gymnastics skills and develop good discipline, as well as, increase their learning ability. These classes are designed to teach skills, build self-esteem, and have fun in a positive safe learning environment. The boys will learn all six Olympic events--floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, & horizontal bar plus trampoline.
Acrobatic Gymnastics
6 yrs. old - 16 yrs. old. Acrobatic gymnastics combines the beauty of dance with the strength and agility of acrobatics. Routines are choreographed to music and consist of dance, tumbling, and partner skill. At the elite level, each pair or group performs a balance, dynamic and combined routine. Pyramids and partner holds characterized the balance routine, while synchronized tumbling and intricate flight elements define the dynamic exercise. An acrobatic gymnastics pair consists of a base and a top. A women's group is comprised of three athletes - a base, middle and top partner - while a men's group has four athletes, a base, two middle partners and one top partner.
Trampoline / Tumbling
6 yrs. old - 22 yrs. old. Our trampoline and tumbling program is geared towards basic through advanced tumbling. These are coed classes and are grouped by age and ability. The age range for these classes is 6-22. Students will train on the power strip, tumble track trampoline, and mini-trampoline. This is a great class for students that only want to tumble. Tumbling is an excellent add on class for any gymnast. It is a favorite of cheerleaders.
Preschool Gymnastics
Toddlers - 5 yrs. old. Preschool gymnastics is one of the few sports recommended for very young children. BGC offers special classes for Toddlers through 5 year olds who are not yet in Kindergarten. The classes are held in our special preschool gym that has a spring floor, developmental mats, beams, bars, rings trampoline and more for tiny bodies and exploring minds. These classes foster movement in a fun and positive environment where the equipment is smaller and lower so the kids can grasp the bars or rings and walk the beams or roll on the mats without fear. The classes are co-ed and divided by age. They are taught by our staff who are trained in the developmental learning stages for young children.
Parent & Tots Gymnastics
Toddlers - 3 years old. Parent & Tots gymnastics class is for children who are walking through 3 year olds. A parent or responsible adult must attend with the child. The class meets for 45 minutes 3-4 times a week and while you are only being charged for once a week you can attend as many days a week as you want. The class is designed to create movement opportunities for your toddler. A coach will be there to give you ideas, show you safe ways to use the equipment and encourage your child to move but the class is not structured where everyone has to do the same activity at the same time. Your job in the class is to: #1 Be your child's safety net. #2 Be their biggest cheerleader. #3 Begin to name what they are already doing. #4 Foster friendly relationships with other people. Set the example of greeting others, taking turns and sharing.
Preschool Gymnastics #1
3 – 4 year olds and 4-5 year olds. Preschool gymnastics class meets for 45 minutes and while most kids come one time a week you can sign up for additional classes at a 25% discount. The small classes are led by our staff and parents are welcome to watch through the window to see their child progress. This class develops balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, self-confidence, fine motor skills and pre-gymnastic skills. It also teaches social skills for school and sports in a fun-filled atmosphere.
Preschool Gymnastics #2
4 - 5 year olds level 1. By invitation only. These classes are for 4-5 year olds with prior gymnastics experience and are recommended by the coach. These classes continue to develop balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and self-esteem while learning gymnastics skills in a fun, safe environment.
Birthday Parties
Regular Party or Combo Party. We have three different types of birthday parties at Boerne Gymnastics Center--Gymnastics, Climbing & Combo Party. Each is explained below: All party packages include invitations and a special T-Shirt for the birthday child.
Gymnastics Party
Children will get to participate in a circuit of gymnastics stations. Play games and jump on trampoline.
Climbing Party
Children will start out bouldering without harnesses, while staying under the red line and getting the feel of the wall and grips. Then they will get strapped into the harnesses and will get to climb as far as they can. There are a few different games that will be played with the climbing wall as well.
Combo Birthday Party
Children will get the best of both parties with this option. The Combo Party is a half hour longer and children will get to do the circuit, play games, jump on trampoline and climb on the wall. All Birthday Parties are 1 1/2 hours long except combo parties. This 1 1/2 hours is broken down to one hour on the floor and 30 minutes in the party room. All Combo Parties are 2 hours long. This 2 hours is broken down to 1 1/2 hours on floor (45 minutes for the circuit & games and 45 minutes for climbing) and 30 minutes in the party room.
Deposit
There is a $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due at the time you book your party. Deposits may be made by cash, check or cc, but require a signature so you must come into the center.
Dates
Parties are only held on Saturdays.
Set Up / Clean Up
We provide the tables, chairs and party decorations (streamers with balloons attached). You are welcome to bring any table decorations, additional balloons, etc. You are responsible for the cake, ice cream, drinks, plates, cups, napkins, etc. You may use the refrigerator and freezer, if needed. It is okay if you want to bring in pizza. We have had some parents that wanted to bring pizza in and then do cake & ice cream at home. This is just fine. You may have the pizza delivered or bring it in yourself. / We will do all the clean-up. You come, have fun, and leave the rest to us.

Gym Bus
Available Upon Request. The BGC Gym Bus program is a unique program that brings gymnastics to you. All of these classes are conducted inside our specially designed school bus that is climate controlled and filled with fun equipment. The purpose of this program is to allow pre school children to experience gymnastics and movement while at their Day Care. Our goal is to promote each child's physical, mental, social, and emotional growth; all while having a great time! We will work on basic gymnastics skills while developing balance, motor and sensory skills, and reading readiness. Please contact BGC at (830) 816-9496 if you're interested in having the Gym Bus come by your Day Care.
Climbing
Available Upon Request. We are primarily a gymnastics center, so our indoor climbing wall is open by appointment only. Please call to schedule a time to climb. The prices for climbing are $12 if you rent our equipment and do not know how to belay & $8 if you bring your own equipment and know how to belay. Programs
Girls USAG
Girls Gymnastics events: Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor under the USAG Junior Olympic guidelines. Head Coach: Bobby Martinez, Assistant Coach: TBD. Girls USAG Teams Level 1-10: Achievement-oriented program in preparation for skills required for USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic competitive program. Level 1 and up may compete at USAG sanctioned meets. Compulsory Levels 4 and 5 are progressive in nature, building upon the skills required at the previous level. Competitive opportunities are provided up to and including the USA Gymnastics State Championships. Optional Levels 6, 7, 8 and 9 have difficulty restrictions while Level 10 has no restrictions in the skill choice.
Girls TAAF
Girls Gymnastics events: Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor under the USAG Junior Olympic guidelines. Head Coach: Jack McClure. Girls TAAF Team (Texas Amateur Athletic Federation): Lower commitment team with less training hours. Athletes compete at TAAF meets only. Follow USAG rules and routines.
Acrobatic Gymnastics
Acrobatics Gymnastics competes in pairs or groups of 3-4 athletes. Pyramids and partner holds characterize the balance elements while synchronized tumbling and intricate flight elements define the dynamic elements. Acrobatics is for boys and girls. USAG JO guidelines. Head Coach: Rumen Lachkov, Assistant Coach/Choreographer: Radostina Lachkov. Assistant coaches: Summer Aldis, DeShay Eisenmeinger, and Becca Sparkman. Acrobatic USAG Level 2-6 Team: Levels 2-5 provides training in beginning skills in preparation for competition at local meets and may compete at State and Regionals. Level 6 is expected to compete at local, State and Regional competitions. Acrobatic USAG Level 6 - Elite: Progressive training based on commitment and skill level. Pairs and groups compete at local, State, Regional and Nationals. International and World championships available for Level 8 and up.
