Class Description
Forrest Yoga (Moderate / Strong)
Created by master yogini Ana Forrest, Forrest Yoga was created specifically to address Our People's (current day) stresses and challenges, both physical and emotional. Forrest Yoga uses intense pose sequences, compassionately taught, to develop skills in awakening each of the senses. It teaches you to bring aliveness, using breath, into every cell of your body, igniting your passion for living. Everyone is welcome in this class. Beginners will get extra attention and guidance while regular practicioners have the freedome to uplevel poses as their wisdom guides. All Levels, Heated Class, Non-heated during hot summer months. Please Note: To help students remain safe and reach their fullest potential, this class incorporates a lot of hands-on assists. If this is something you'd like to pass on, please let our teacher know--no judgement!
Senior Stretch ($10)
A class designed for, but not limited to, the aged population of seniors (but Anyone is welcome!). We will explore and encourage movements for healthy range of motion and mobility. Class focus is an offering of simple moves in seated and standing positions. Chairs are used for those who cannot sit comfortably on the floor, and/or for stability in standing postures. There will be some transitions from the seated work to standing work, but this will not be frequent. As well, modifications can be given for every posture offered!
Community Flow (only $8!)
Enjoy this class for only $8...a class that is for anyone and everyone (teens, young adults, adults!). This class sometimes includes simple breathing practices, and will be based off easy sequencing for the purpose of stretching, strengthening and opening the body and mind, for all levels and abilities. Particular attention to safe alignment principles in postures and the transitions between them will provide a balance between steadiness, strength and fluid, conscious movement. This class is suitable for those who are just beginning their practice and for those who have some experience. There are always modifications and variations offered to those who need to take it easy or who are ready to try more advanced postures. Class is 1 hour and only $8. Come alone, with friends, or with family!
Yoga Basics (Great for Beginners!)
Enjoy a yoga class designed for yoga beginners. A slower paced class focused on learning alignment, breath awareness, and linking movements with breath. This is a great class where you can learn while having a practice built just for you. Our teacher will share in your journey to find ways to move, stretch, build endurance and have some fun. This class is designed for beginners, but is also great for anyone looking for a gentle class, or a refresher on some alignment cues and other useful tips!
Core Flow (Moderate / Strong)
This is a great class for those who are looking for a bit of challenge! This class is designed to help you release both physical and emotional tension, while also focusing on toning the body and building strength by working the core muscles. You can expect a flow-style class with longer holds which allows space to understand the intelligence and benefits of each pose...plus lots of space to play and explore! We will sometimes add in some pranayama (breath work). Upper-levels options will be given but are never required. We will meet you at your own level of intensity and curiosity. All Levels, Non heated/Gently heated.
Vinyasa Flow (Moderate)
An inspiring all levels class offering a mindful approach into each posture, this class combines a steady (not fast) vinyasa flow practice with elements of creative visualization, self-study, and yoga philosophy to create a total mind/body experience. You don't have to be far experienced to take this class; all levels are always welcomed! We recommend having some knowledge of basic yoga postures prior to trying this class, though this is not required. We will meet you wherever you are. Come prepared to transform and have fun! All Levels, Non-Heated/Gently heated during winter months.
Yin Yoga & Meditation
This class is appropriate for all levels (including beginners), and for anyone who is looking for a very relaxing, meditative class. This class is primarily Yin (poses done seated/lying down with the support of props; held for about 3-5 minutes), but sometimes gentle flow-like movements may take place in between Yin postures or prior to starting the Yin sequence. There will also be a small portion of class dedicated to a light meditation practice. This class is BLISS!! and will leave you feeling relaxed, an ready for a great night's sleep! Come try! All Levels, Non Heated.
Deep Stretch
This class taught by Dr Wayne "Papaji" Clairborne features a deliberately slower paced practice with deeper access to large and small muscle groups with intentionally longer holds. This will develop alignment, strength, flexibility, balance, range of motion, and focus. This class is great for yogi's, athletes, weight lifters, cross-fit trainers, anyone who does strenuous physical activities, and anyone who's looking for some amazing stretches as a part of their weekly routine! Discussion of anatomical relationships will be an integral part of the class. The class is designed to be thoughtful and playful with a bit of challenge. It breaks away from the traditional "flow style" yoga class, as most work is done close to the floor. Rather than incorporating yoga philosophies and pranayama (breath work), the focus is exclusively on deep stretches. Come enjoy a class that will leave your body feeling more open and flexible. All Levels, Non heated/gently heated during winter.
Mellow Flow
This vinyasa-style class is for anyone with the desire to move around, open, and breathe in a gentle, controlled way. We break away from the Power-Vinyasa style as slow things down and offer students an opportunity to practice traditional and familiar yoga postures, with attention to how are bodies move and respond to each posture and movement. Class will sometimes include pranayama (breath work) and there will always be time for a nice, relaxing savasana! All Levels, Non heated/gently heated during winter.
Yin Yoga
These classes are suitable for all levels and ideal for beginners, people with injuries and joint issues, and anyone looking for a more "inward" practice. The deep, relaxed nature of the poses make them accessible for all. Poses are done seated and lying down, with the assistance of props, and are held for longer periods of time (usually about 3-5 minutes) to get into the body's connective tissue. Not to be confused with restorative yoga, this class can have a certain level of intensity to it, but it can also be very healing. Yin Yoga has proven to be beneficial for anxiety, depression, stress management, and many types of joint issues.
Mid-day Flow (Gentle / Moderate)
This class is appropriate for everyone! It is a vinyasa-styled class, that leans towards the mellower side. We will work our way through breathing and postures to relax, open and stretch the body. There is a constant, but gentle, flow of movement and breath, weaving in an array of postures and balances, with attention to releasing tension, and finding an inward focus. This approach cultivates your path toward a true state of active meditation. All Levels, Non-Heated.
Forrest Yoga & Yoga Nidra (Moderate)
This class begins with a heated 90-minute Forrest Flow suitable for all yoga practicioners. We stretch, detoxify, and strengthen the body through working with the breath in each pose. The space is set for evey person to reach their maximum potential through the connection of breath and movement. The physical practice prepares the body for the second half: the yoga nidra guided mediation. Yoga nidra is a meditative tool to break up deep tension patterns in the subconscious and physical body. You leave feeling blissful. Don't take our word for it, try it and see for yourself! All Levels, Heated 75-85 degrees/Non-heated during hot months.
Vinyasa Flow (Moderate / Strong)
This class is a flow class appropriate for those who have had some experience or anyone who appreciates a little bit of a physical challenge. Class usually begins with gentle warm-up moments, then we will work with linking your breath to the movements you make, alongside building strength in the body, and lengthening the muscles. Some attention to core strengthening will often be offered. We recommend having some knowledge of basic yoga postures prior to trying this class, though this is not required. We will meet you wherever you are! All Levels, Heated Class, Non-Heated during hot summer months.
Prenatal Flow & Stretch
A class which will take the body through a journey of mild flow and soft movements which emphasize problem areas of the body that are taxed during pregnancy, including the back, hips, groin, and hamstrings. Through a process of stretching, gentle twisting, elongating muscles and connective tissues, and deep breathing, this class will help develop strength, flexibility, endurance, and a peaceful state of mind and body. Newly added--roughly the last 15 minutes of class will be dedicated to a more restorative/mediation/relaxation practice. This class is also great for immediate post-natal clients! All Levels, Average Room Temperature, with gentle heat during the colder months.
Vinyasa Flow (Gentle / Moderate)

Free Yoga for Educators & Amin.
Open to all school teachers and school administrators who need to wind down and stretch out, with an emphasis on stress reduction and release. Free with your school ID. This is a great opportunity to meet other educators in the area! This class is offered in partnership with Shri Service Corps, a non-profit organization that provides free yoga and wellness programs across Rhode Island. All Levels, Non-heated Class.

Balance Your Busy Life With Meditation and Mindfulness. Have you always wanted to meditate, but didn't know where to start? Have you decided to make meditation practice a part of your life, but keep "falling off the wagon?" Meditation can create positive, powerful changes in your life, but like any habit, it must be cultivated. Please join our monthly meditation group for accountability, inspiration, and support. We will start each meeting with a 10-20 minute meditation, then share ideas that have worked to keep us on the path, as well as challenges, and how to overcome them. This class is held the 1st Monday of every month for FREE! Singing up in advance is greatly appreciated!
