Sfalos boasts about his different style of burger. When asked by customers what seasonings he puts on the delectable fare, he simply replies, 'salt and pepper.' He claims the great taste comes from the way he and his staff prepare the burgers, and that this technique is what sets them apart from the competition's offerings. 'The way we prepare the burgers is a secret, just like my chili, a secret,' Sfalos said. Now that dish really is a secret, and not even his employees know exactly what magical mix of ingredients goes into Bobby J's Chili. In fact, Sfalos comes in early in the morning while no one is around to mix his famous concoction. It's a spicy, true Texas chili. Along with the food, Bobby J's offers a relaxing and nice setting to enjoy your meal with front and back outdoor seating as well as plenty of room inside. The outdoor pavilion is large enough for gatherings and boasts a great view of the Texas Hill Country. There are three seating areas inside, one a new addition Sfalos himself constructed. The decor is welcoming, with old license plates hanging on the wall, country pictures, old fashioned washboards, metal ceilings and cozy tables.
