Bob Hartigan is a commercial lobsterman who has been hauling his pots off of the coast of Plum Island for over twenty-five years. For most of his earlier days, he sold his catch out of the basement of his home. Although there was no sign to mark his location and no hours were posted on the door, islanders knew where and when to find "Bob Lobster." In 2001, Bob expanded and moved the 'cellar' to its present location. Today, Bob Lobster not only markets Bob's fresh catch but he's also serving up golden-fried seafood, award-winning lobster rolls, homemade crab cakes and chowders, ice cream, and more. There's even a modest but reasonably priced selection of fresh fish along with Bob's own take-and-bake seafood and lobster pies (some available gluten-free).
