Blue Fin has been a long time in the making for Ben Nguyen. Having spent the last 17 years honing his skills under some of the most respected chefs in the area, Ben has learned to showcase his talents in a manner that is sure to please a multitude of senses simultaneously. Now, all his years of hard work and dedication are finally coming to fruition with the opening of Blue Fin. Though still in its first year, Blue Fin has already obtained a reputable stance in the Denver scene as a must visit for fresh fish and out of the ordinary dishes.
Ben has no intention of slowing down the rampant pace he's set for himself. As he demands the highest degree of perfection from himself, so he expects from his staff as well. His chefs are encouraged to bare their personalities through their vibrant and creative presentations. Quality is something never to be forsaken, and his team is continually being pushed towards finding new and innovative ways to please even the most discerning palates.
Between Executive Sushi Chef, Ying “Jason” Lu, and Head Chef, Zach Dickinson, Ben has formulated a powerhouse team that functions in fluidity and compliments each of the chefs’ abilities. Amongst the three of them, over 30 years of experience is brought to the table and they have no plans to stop sharing their love of food with the people around them. Working together, each day brings them a new discovery of how to meld Zach’s French cuisine background with Ben and Jason’s traditionally Japanese experience. The result is a refreshing and invocative menu that continues to expand and change to keep up with the Denver lifestyle.
