Joon B. Cho and his family opened up Blue Nami in Orangevale, CA in 2001. This small, hole in the wall place grew into one of the best sushi restaurants in Sacramento. In 2007, with the help of his partner Yuji Yokoyama, they opened up their second location in Roseville. Their dreams of creating an upperscale dining experience were met as they held their grand opening later that year.
One of the biggest things that sets Blue Nami apart from other sushi restaurants is the innovative and artistic ways that the sushi chefs cut and present the finest fish on the market.
