A flow of classic hatha yoga postures (with a challenge or two) with modifications to allow you to relax or challenge in the pose. Instructors offer several modifications in many poses so you can listen to your body by resting or challenging yourself. Many newer practitioners feel that an all levels vinyasa allows them to practice the skills that will help them navigate from basic/beginner to more challenging classes. Get to know the angels and archangels.each Week, you will be introduced to an archangel through information, meditation, and yoga. The angels are available to everyone for help in your life. There is no religious aspect or connotation to the angels they help and guide anyone who asks. This is a free class for all levels and all ages. This is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, whether you come by yourself, with a friend, or with a family member. Practice yoga postures while you let go of your weekend, and prepare body and mind for the week ahead. Early Bird Yoga
This class is an all levels vinyasa style flow. We offer plenty of modifications for all levels. Why early bird? It's simply the early afternoon/evening - perfect for teachers, students and anyone who has the afternoon off and would like to get their practice in before dinner! And - it's a $10 class (an early bird bargain). Open to all levels
A comforting way to integrate the body, mind and soul. You can use this class as a gentle introduction to yoga, or the gentler balance to your vigorous practice. In this hatha yoga class, practice basic asanas, movement and meditation. We will share yogic wisdom and philosophy. Perfect for seniors, prenatal, those with injuries or those wanting to take a slower class. Note: the gentle class with beverly davis is especially well suited for practitioners who have challenges with arthritis
While this class is geared toward expectant mothers, it truly is for anyone. Expectant mothers or anyone simply wanting a gentler approach to their yoga practice, this is the class for you. We encourage partners/expectant fathers to come with the expectant moms for a little quiet time to connect in the shared experience of yoga
Once a month we have a healing circle led by reiki master janet gabel. Come enjoy a wonderful energetic experience. Janet uses reiki and other energetic healing principles to create a theme for each month. No experience is needed. Perfect for all levels
Healing Sangha Meditation
"Sangha" means community or meeting. We will be coming together as a group to pray, meditate, and send healing energy in any way that you practice. We will set out a box for intentions, inviting the community to write anything they would like energy sent to. Then we will come together as a group to give energy to these intentions. We will take love offerings for the space, if anyone would like to offer, but please know that you don't need to donate. Those who gather will offer energy in the way they are most comfortable including prayer, reiki, simply sitting in meditation with intention, or any other tradition that they know. Teens- ages 13 18- this class teaches posture and relaxation and helps teens/young adults in this stage of life learn to navigate their feelings and frustrations in a non-judgmental, non-competitive, supportive, creative and fun way! Yoga helps calm and focus the mind, soothe the nerves; improves the ability to relax; increases self-esteem; improves body image; and develops flexibility in body and mind. We will work on creative ways to build confidence, improve balance and posture, and develop a sense of peace within! No experience needed, drop-ins are welcome!
Oh that word - "tween" - do you wish there was a grown up class for your age group? This class is for kids ages 8 - 13. We will incorporate traditional sun salutations, games and relaxation/meditation - all while having fun! In this class, students will be challenged with more detail in the poses (just like adult classes) but will leave feeling successful and light. No experience needed. Drop-ins are welcome!

Our kundalini yoga classes focus on classic kriyas as brought to the u.s. By yogi bhaJan. Kundalini yoga focuses on breath and movement, and challenges its students both physically and mentally as you move through kriyas designed to "work on" specific physical, mental and energetic body systems. We also have traditional kundalini yoga aquarian sadhana once a month at 4:30 am. Keep your eye on the class schedule page for dates. "New to kundalini" practitioners are always welcome!
Kundalini Yoga Aquarian Sadhana
We host kundalini yoga sadhana one Saturday per month, beginning at 4:30 am to practice during the ambrosial hours of the day. We begin by listening to the sikh prayer "japji", followed by kriya and then chanting meditation. Traditionally, we wear white to sadhana and keep heads covered, so please try to wear white or a light color. Beginners are very welcome!
We offer meditation every Monday morning ($10 per class) and once Sunday evening a month (dates to be announced). Each meditation class begins with gentle movement to ease the body into a comfortable position for meditation. Center, restore and renew. (Our Sunday monthly meditation is a donation class for mary's place by the sea) open to all levels no meditation experience is necessary.
A posture flow class designed to be the bridge between beginner/basic and mix 2 or vinyasa classes. Mix 1, more challenging than beginner or basic classes, builds on your basic practice and prepares the body for a more advanced postures by adding new postures and advancing modifications for basic postures. An all levels class.
This class is a combination of mix 1 and mix 2 (level 1 and 2), giving you the opportunity to honor your body's needs by keeping your poses basic, or modifying them to a more challenging level! This class is usually vinyasa style flowing from pose to pose and ending with a relaxation. All levels are welcome!
A 7 am flow to get you moving before the work day/school day, etc. A little later than sunrise, but early enough to get your day started the right way! Expect a little challenge, but nothing aggressive! All levels are welcome!
Prana yoga incorporates slow flow and holding in poses to allow time for meditation and visualization of the chakras during practice. It was developed by jeff migdow, md to emphasize the link between the physical body, the mind and the energy body. You will be guided into classic yoga postures and then led through the meditative aspect and breathing in each pose. Prana yoga classes always end with a relaxation! All levels are welcome.
Restorative yoga incorporates the use of props, blankets and bolsters for support and holding in the postures. Muscles begin to deeply relax and release tension as we let go to the support of our props. Classes often have a "theme", (such as aligning the spine, twisting for detox, support for the immune system, etc.) With asanas (posture), pranyama (breathing), mudras, meditation and relaxation geared toward that purpose. Slow Flow Vinyasa
Create a mind/body connection, with time to focus on alignment, while developing your own personal rhythm of movement. This class moves through a flow of poses at a slower pace, allowing you to stretch and strengthen as you transition slowly form pose to pose and hold in other poses. An all levels class
Our early morning class for those who want to start their day with yoga before they head out to work. This hour-long class incorporates classic postures and breathing practices to greet the day. Enough work so your body knows you've practiced, but not so strenuous that you won't want to go to work!. All levels
A posture flow class (frequently based on surya namaskar, or sun salutation) that offers you the option of taking your poses to a deeper level. Modifications and adjustments will be offered to help deepen your poses as far as you are ready to take them. Stay basic, or move into intermediate and advanced levels as your body is ready. ( "All levels vinyasa" is suggested for new/newer students.)
Vinyasa Yoga with Light Weights
Classic yoga poses with the optional addition of flight weights geared toward the maintenance of muscle tone and bone health. We have 2-3 lb weights available, but please feel free to bring your own light weights. If you would like, you could also bring light ankle weight (1-3 lbs) to add the same sculpting to your legs! Weights are optional and modifications are offered for different levels of experience.
This is an all levels morning class. Start with warm-ups to get the spine and joints moving, then move into a flow perfect for strengthening and stretching the body. Enjoy alignment pointers, modifications and relaxation before moving on with your day. A great way to start your weekend! All levels
Experience the "quiet practice", or yin yoga in this class. Release the body and promote joint health by holding poses in the traditional yin style. This practice slows us down in mind and body, bringing benefit to muscles, joints, internal organs ans the nervous system. Perfect for all levels
