Blue Moon was founded by my father and mother back in the late 70s, and since its debut, Blue Moon has become, quite simply, the standard by which all other Oklahoma City Chinese cuisine is judged. Please come see us. Chinese Moon Festival. The Chinese Moon Festival is on the 15th of the 8th lunar month. It’s also known as the Mid-autumn Festival. Chinese culture is deeply embedded in traditional festivals.
