Jacob Leatherman has been making waves in Chicago’s styling scene since he opened BOCAJ Beauty in 2013. At his newest salon in Lakeview, BLOWN by bocaj - Salon & Blowdry Bar, Leatherman combines the innate creativity of a professional performing artist with the technique he honed as a cosmetologist. Along with his hand-selected team of experienced stylists and hairdressers, Leatherman offers services that range from keratin and conditioning treatments to precise cuts, color, expert makeup application, glamorous braids, waxing and spray tanning.
The lounge-like salon is also leading the pack in customized beauty events, like their Girls’ Night Out, perfect for a post-brunch or pre-bachelorette soirée. For brides-to-be, the salon offers onsite bridal treatments for the future Mrs. (and her entire party).
