Series members are allowed to make up a missed class on another day before the series ends.
Credit towards a series or class card will be given to upgrade from a drop-in class.
Class series and cards are non-transferrable and non-refundable
In the event the teacher needs to cancel class due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up class for the series will be scheduled on the following week.

If you are not sure what your medical condition will allow, it is your responsibility to discuss with your doctor prior to yoga class.
Doors open 10 to 15 minutes before class begins. Feel free to take the time to relax or speak with the teacher.
If you arrive late, please wait outside the door until pranayama (breathwork) has concluded.
We have a few classes where there is only a short window of time from where one ends and one begins.
If you are early and see that the last class has not ended, please wait outside until the class has finished.
Shoes are not allowed on the studio floor.

This level incorporates a wide variety of postures to strengthen and lengthen. Thoughtful and precise attention to alignment is emphasized. Props such as bolster pillows, blankets, straps and blocks are freely used to help deepen or support your exploration, while maintaining safety and caution. Suitable for those who have no limitations with average mobility.
This level is suitable for those who have physical limitations or are in need of a more therapeutic class to ease chronic pain. Many postures use a chair as assistance. Focus is on breath work, increased range of mobility, balance, strengthening muscles and relaxation.
This level challenges the practitioner with advanced postures that are held for longer periods of time. It incorporates various yogic breathing techniques that start the class off before going into surya namaskars (sun salutations) and challenging standing postures that create heat, open up the body and refine balance. This is followed by advanced seated, prone and supine postures that will include inversions, arm balances and more. Suitable for intermediate and advanced students.
The flow of breath is emphasized while moving with strength and grace from posture to posture all in a heated 76 degree environment. Bring plenty of water and be prepared to sweat. Suitable for some beginners and all intermediate and advanced students.
This intermediate class is practiced in a heated studio at approximately 93 degrees. Modifications are provided to ensure most levels will be comfortable in the class. Heat increases flexibility and also produces a cleansing effect on the body. Bring plenty of water, a yoga towel (or light beach towel), dress lightly and be prepared to sweat. Suitable for some beginners who would enjoy the effects of the heat and all intermediate or advanced students.
Iyengar based yoga is most famous for its emphasis on personal assists to guide the student deeper into the posture from whatever level they are at in their practice. Be prepared to hold postures for long periods of time. Suitable for levels 2-4.
Little Kids Yoga
Barking in the downward dog pose, hissing in cobra and meowing in cat stretch are just some of the fun ways yoga is taught to kids in this class. Children jump to assume the role of animals, trees, flowers and warriors. As they flutter their butterfly wings, their minds are engaged, their mind-body connection deepens and their awareness develops. Parents or caregivers are welcome to observe the class. (Ages 3-5).
All the fun of our little kids yoga class, but for kids ages 6-11. The class is taught in a child friendly manner with emphasis on focus, calming and attention to breathing in a playful style. Here creativity, confidence and courage flourish.

Please inquire about any openings for those who may have at least 2 hours a week to help out at the studio in exchange for free yoga classes. We also are always interested in bartering for goods or services in exchange for yoga classes.

We are currently looking for 200-500 hour certified yoga and pilates teachers who are passionate about teaching yoga and can demonstrate the more philosophical aspects of yoga in addition to the obvious, physical ones.

Looking for a unique party idea? What about making your nine year old’s next birthday party a YOGA party? Let’s get creative! A booking includes a one hour yoga class (for all levels) with an instructor. The class will be tailored to meet the needs/requests of the party organizer and can be as rigorous or relaxed as you’d like it to be. Food and beverage can be brought in. Please no shoes on the studio floor. Attendance limit: 15 (Additional people can be invited for $5/person, up to a maximum of 20 people.)
