Don't trash your bathroom or subject your sweet dog to the cold water from the backyard hose.

Check out our custom-made dog tubs and you'll never wash your dog at home again. We've found what we believe is the best dog bath on the market. Our tubs are truly dog-friendly. They're low enough that even the oldest dogs can hop right in, and since they're made from fiberglass, they're completely non-slip. These tubs even allow you to rinse both sides of your pet without ever unclipping or turning the dog. Our water is pre-mixed to the perfect, warm temperature, the spray nozzle allows you to choose how much pressure you want, and our dryers get your dog warm and dry before leaving. We supply aprons (to keep you dry,) brushes, Earthbath natural shampoo, towels, use of our raised grooming tables, dog-friendly tubs, and dryers. All you need to bring is a dirty dog!

Do-it-yourself and Leave the Mess for Us!

Dog wash closes 30 minutes prior to store closing to allow our staff time to clean up after all those dirty dogs!

We supply waterproof aprons, grooming tables, brushes, and professional grooming dryers making it easy to clean up the dirtiest dog!

Each of our dog wash stations is equipped with a Pro Bather system.

Pack Leader Program - 2 hours to a new dog!

Bring your dog and your family members (12 and older) to this two hour private class that elevates you to the position of Pack Leader. Dogs love and respect the Pack Leader and are interested in his or her opinion. Your dog will learn to listen and stop ignoring you. Learn and apply the cures for common behavior problems: barking, housetraining, jumping, chewing, growling, food aggression, and pulling.

Our highly regarded boarding school program specializes in state-of-the-art, vibration & low-level, communication-style E-Collar training. Our E-Collar program is like nothing you have ever seen, and is nothing like the E-Collar training of old. Contemporary E-Collar Training utilizes the softest, most gentle remote communication, and is one of the most humane and effective approaches to dog training available. We pride ourselves on one-on-one attention paid to each individual dog and situation. By comparison to the rest of the industry, which tends to do a higher volume of dogs and longer programs, our very unique approach to training and rehabilitation allows us to go further with your dog in less time and create transformations unavailable elsewhere. Drop your dog off at our beautiful dog psychology farm convenient to I-25. In two weeks, pick up a highly trained pet who behaves well in the city, suburbs and country. We live on the property with your dog and train only a select few dogs at a time. Your dog will be happy and busy all day long. All programs include multiple training, play and potty sessions from early morning to nighttime. Your dog and you are welcome to visit our farm by appointment for a complete tour. All of our methods are fun and stimulating to your dog. Boarding school includes an extensive orientation for you on your pickup day. We customize the approach for each dog to meet your personal dreams and goals. Our two week program is best for happy – excitable or stubborn dogs or those with mild to medium aggression. An excellent choice for busy families who want a Dream Dog. Your dog learns: Excellent leash manner even with distractions. Sit and stay with distractions. Come when called, even with distractions. This program includes 4.5 hours of one-one-one training: a 30-minute meeting at our facility prior to your dog's stay; 2-3 hour go-home session at the end of the program, at our facility, where we will transfer all of the information, techniques, and strategies to you to insure continued success; one 1-hour follow up at our facility or at your home (within the immediate Boulder County area); email and phone support during and after the program is completed; as well as a the e-collar, and suitable leash and training collar depending on what your dog requires.

Private Lesson Plan includes off leash training

Private lessons quickly solve a host of problems. Yes, it really works! Appointment times are flexible. In these four sessions, we will assess your dog at our facility and put together a comprehensive approach/plan to work towards achieving your goals, whether they be obedience and/or behavioral issues. For most dogs four private lessons (five hours of training) complete: come when called, good leash manners, no more jumping, sit/stay, down/stay and any behavior problems such as jumping, nipping, counter surfing, excessive barking, chewing, digging, cat/squirrel/car chasing. The initial 2-hour session is comprised of a consultation, assessment, and hands-on training with you and your dog. You will begin to see dramatic changes in your dog's behavior within this first session. The next three sessions are 1 hour each, where we will continue to work hands-on with you and your dog on all of the above behaviors. Our unique approach to dog training is geared more towards addressing the fundamental state of mind of your dog, rather than strictly focusing on creating rehearsed behaviors. In other words, we are much more concerned with creating a happy, healthy, balanced dog than creating a dog that simply knows a few obedience commands. BlackPaw's head trainer, Bernadette, specializes in E-Collar/Remote Collar training, and all dogs that go through one-on-one sessions will be remote collar trained. If your goal is to have complete freedom and dependability off-leash, inside and outside, our revolutionary approach will give you fantastic results. Dogs with any human aggression, or serious dog aggression, are not eligible for the One-on-One sessions. This is for the safety of everyone involved, and for the results we are looking for.
