The seasonal menu is Mediterranean, with French and Italian influences and ingredients sourced from local farmers and producers. Our wine list includes a selection of old and new world biodynamic and sustainable wines, including many from women vintners. Bistro de la Gare's interior is reminiscent of a train station somewhere in the French countryside. A vintage railway clock is mounted on the wall of the dining room, which we imagine as the station's waiting room with its red banquette seats and cozy bar area. Hidden in the back of the restaurant, adjacent to the busy kitchen, is a lovely garden where you can enjoy a leisurely meal while listening to the gentle flow of water from a fountain. It feels like a little slice of Venice, only closer to home.
