About Us
A fixture in the heart of Riverhead's Polishtown since 1929, the Birchwood has a cozy, old pub feel, with its original tin ceiling, old-fashioned brass register behind the bar, red and white checkered tablecloths, stained glass and memorabilia and antiques. The establishment is loaded with character. The bar features happy hour daily from noon to 6pm and ladies' night every Thursday. The dining room can seat about 100 and there is a separate catering hall. The catering hall that is attached offers on-site catering for any occasion.
