Billy’s was originally called ZigZag. Later it was changed to The Cimarron Café that remained for over 20 years. Billy’s other location in Glendale is 58 years old so Billy’s Torrance, i.e., “junior” changed the name from Cimarron Café to Billy’s. A full service delicatessen was also added with the name change. Billy’s has always been a great family sit down restaurant serving America’s favorite food… great hamburgers, combo sandwiches, seafood, chicken and breakfast served all day (still is served all day… at both locations). Now you can add Brisket of Beef, Knishes, Potato Pancakes, huge Rubens (a grilled three-decker corned beef sandwich made with Swiss cheese and Sauerkraut) or Deli Classics such as Chopped Liver, Egg Salad, Liverwurst, etc.
