During this class, learn all about the winemaking process, from selecting the proper grapes, all the way to bottling and labeling. In the first of this two session class, you will discover various approaches and techniques to this art form, as well as create 24-28 bottles of your very own wine. Once your wine ferments, you'll return and fine tune your product by balancing, stabilizing, and adjusting the tannin and sugar levels of your vino. Finally bottle, cork, and label your final product so that it's ready to break out at your next party and impress all your guests. Stop for a second and smell the roses -- or grapes -- because the next world-famous vino could be right under your nose.

The second session will take place after your wine has fermented, a date that you will choose. There is a required materials fee of $70-$180, depending on the type of wine you choose to make, that must be paid upon arrival.
Beer Brewing
Duration: 1 hour; $50; Have you ever wondered what the perfect beer would taste like? Well, wonder no longer because now you can actually learn how to make the beer of your dreams, yourself! During this beer brewing class, you and a friend will learn all about the beer brewing process, starting with key terminology and ingredient selection. Next, things will get more hands-on as you make a 5 gallon batch (approximately 48 bottles) of your very own craft beer. In the second session of this course, you'll return about a month later, once your beer has fermented. At this point, put the finishing touches on your dream beer to take home and enjoy. Every great craft beer is born through this same small-scale process, but the greatest beers require a vivid imagination and a little trial and error. Who knows? You could start the next Dogfish Head Brewery.
