Your wedding cake is absolutely one of those "it" items that makes your wedding different from everyone else's. When it comes to planning your wedding, it can also be one of the most fun details to choose and plan for. At Bert's Bakery, we take pride in creating unique and delicious wedding cakes in all styles and for all tastes. Consultations
Complimentary Wedding Cake Consultations are available by appointment only! Call 269-492-9111 to make your appointment today. All Wedding Consulations are done through our Westnedge location.
Reserving your date
To reserve your date we will need a 50% deposit based on the full estimated price.
Top Cake
The top 6" cake is yours to keep for your First Anniversary or serve it for 10 servings.
Delivery
Delivery is included to many area Venues. We will deliver anywhere from Detroit to Chicago for an additional fee. We would be happy to quote the delivery fee at your appointment.

Service at Bert's Bakery is always a priority. We do all our consulting by appointment.
Invitations
Stop in anytime to look through our books. Once you have chosen your invite you can make an appointment with Amy to order. Payment is expected at the time of ordering. Save 25% off any order of $100 or more. We offer 10 different books to preview. Allow 1-2 weeks to process.
Reserving your date
To reserve your date you will need an estimated 50% refundable deposit. In the event that you cancel $75 fee will be charged.
Cakes
We use the whole egg to give you a cake more moist than a white cake. Yellow, Chocolate, Marble, Orange, Almond Poppy, Lemon Poppy, Banana, Red Velvet, Carrot, Spice & Confetti. Gluten Free Vanilla or Chocolate, Vegan Vanilla or Chocolate and Cheese Cake are additional.
Fillings
All of our cakes are filled with our own unique BAVARIAN CREAM. Vanilla, Chocolate, Mocha, Almond, Orange, Hazelnut, Cream Cheese, Peanut Butter, Raspberry, Strawberry, Lemon, Salted Caramel, German Chocolate and Key Lime. In addition to the Bavarian Cream, a layer of fruit preserves may be added!
Fruit Preserves
Raspberry, Cherry, Apricot, Strawberry, Lemon Custard, Pineapple & Apricot. Our Cakes are torted with 4 layers of cake & 3 layers of cream. Choose a different flavor for every tier at no additional cost.
Top Cake
is not included in your count and is yours to keep for your First Anniversary. These cakes serve 10.
Discounts
Save 10% on wedding cakes by using a sheet cake in addition to a tiered cake. Applies to cakes that are #125 or more. Our sheet cakes are torted just like the wedding cake. They are not decorated and are served from the kitchen. Sheet cakes serve #75 or #150. Save $25 on cakes #50 or more servings when you pick you cake up.

We bake fantastic, delicious cakes for all occasions.
You can choose from three different styles and a dizzying array of flavor and icing combinations. We bake round cakes varying in size from six to 16 inches, sheet cakes which will serve anywhere between 16 and 95 people and double sheet cakes that serve between 75 and 175. You can choose from 10 different cake flavors with 9 scrumptious Bavarian icing flavor options and/or 7 delectable fruit fillings. We also make diabetic cakes for those who require less of a sugar rush. These come in either white or chocolate cake with vanilla icing.
All cakes include flowers or balloons, and you can either allow our expert decorators to choose the appropriate colors or you can make a special order of your own color design.
We can also produce edible pictures for those special occasions.
