After months of extensive renovations, Mike Robertson opened the door this winter to the little restaurant at 572 Rappahannock Drive.
Inside, the lunch and deli counter from the former establishment was removed and a bar was added for customers looking for a pub-like hangout. Robertson kept racks of wine on display and continues retail sales of wine. The dining area was extended to nearly double the size and a salad bar was added.
Another change is the occasional addition of live entertainment. This Friday evening, singer/guitarist Natalie York will perform for diners.
“Lunch and dinner specialties could be described as American-continental cuisine with a French flair,” said Robertson, who also happens to be the chef. He plans to vary the menu to other regional cuisines.
