used by man police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, professional athletes, housewives and soccer moms world wide.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive.
Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
We've used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don't change programs.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind.
Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.
Why is BayWay CrossFit Different?
Each CrossFit gym has a similar program
Constantly Varied, High Intensity, Functional Movements. But that is where the similarity ends. What makes a CrossFit gym great is the Coaches, and at BayWay CrossFit we have the best. We have one of the most educated training staff in the area from a Level 2 CrossFit trainer to a Master Degree in Exercise Physiology. We understand the best interests of our athletes and we continue to listen and evolve as the wants and needs of our community change.
What Makes BayWay CrossFit Great
Experienced Coaching Staff and Programming
Specialty Programs: Weightlifting, Boot Camp, Nutrition, Open Gym
Community: Seminars, Special Events, Parties, Competitions
This is BayWay CrossFit's weightlifting and strength class!
Our main focus with this class will be improving the efficiency of the snatch and clean & jerk but will subsequently make everyone in the program better at CrossFit.
Nearly 40% of all CrossFit workouts involve some type of Olympic movement or accessory work
Being strong and efficient at these movements would allow one of Baytwon Barbell's athletes to gain an advantage on their peers. So in short if you can snatch and clean & jerk better you will be better at CrossFit.
Olympic lifting allows an athlete to learn the way their body moves
Muscle synchronization, balance, flexibility, and coordination as well as strength, speed, power, and metabolic development are all things you can expect to develop while training with Baytown Barbell. Olympic lifting also allows an athlete to understand how to produce force. Force, in terms of strength training and athleticism, is the body's ability to recruit and initiate muscular contraction. Greater ability to produce force means greater ability to act upon external load, greater ability to control/manipulate the body in space, and greater ability to maintain efficiency with higher-repetition sub-maximal endeavors.
Our main goal of BBC is to better each athletes overall strength and coordination while improving their efficiency of the snatch and clean & jerk.
By doing this we will improve their CrossFit skills ranging from Muscle Ups to Burpees.
Baytown Barbell Costs
There will be 2 classes per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30pm. There will also be workouts written up for the weekends that we have classes or open gym. This brings the price for members under $5 a class. Limited to 10 Athletes.

Personal Training
Personal Training is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals.
Our trainers are very committed to their athletes goals and are quick to identify where they can help the most. Your trainer will design a program specifically targeting and improving those areas all while optimizing your cardio, strength, and overall fitness. Personal Training is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, training for a specific sport, health limitations, or someone who needs a little more attention.
Personal Training Prices
Depending on the trainer, private or group sessions, and the number of sessions prices will range between $35-55 per hour.
Online Programming
Online programming is a way for someone to get private training when unable to make it to a gym
This could be someone who is needing to lose weight or someone who is just looking to feel better and become more physically fit. There is also those individual athletes who are looking for a more intense program that may help them compete better in their particular sport. Again, this is not a program specifically for competitors, but it can be. Our coaching staff will work together to build a program based on your particular goals, capabilities, and the equipment/facility you have.

What is Nutritional Coaching?
Nutritional Coaching is a one on one educational tool to teach you everything you need to know about eating for performance and aesthetics.
This is a one month program that is broken down into four one week sections. We have found that this is the best way to learn and build new habits.
What are your goals?
We will start each program by deciding what your goals are.
Do you have the desire to look like Rich Froning/Annie Thorisdottir or compete like them or maybe both? Once we have figured this out creating a game plan is much easier.
The Game Plan
For the one month nutritional coaching the total cost is $124.98+tax. If you chose to continue into the next month your cost is $66.98+tax .
Week 1: The Overview
After completing our online assessment you will then receive your nutritional journal. This will be a comprehensive review of your daily food intake, sleep, stress, exercise, ect. This will give us some parameters for you game plan. The journal will continue to be used throughout the month.
Week 2: Macros
After we have a comprehensive record of your week we can now put together some recommended macro nutrient sources as well as quantities. This is the base for your nutritional game plan.
Week 3: The Prep
We will teach you how you can find the foods that you need for each week. How to measure the amount of food for each meal. Help create a sample meal plan for you and your family.
Week 4: Adjust and Improve
This step is the most important for long lasting success. From here we now have enough information from your nutritional journal to hone in on each meal. We will break down the contents of each meal and the timing for these meals. We can address any challenges you have faced through the month as well as opportunities to improve. With a lifestyle change like this supplementation may be needed to help further success, this week will be the time to discuss the inclusion of nutritional supplements.
On Saturdays we either have Free workout on at 9:00 AM or we host a special event. Please see our website for details!
