Bara Sushi House is one of Portland's premiere sushi restaurants with fresh exotic seafood flown in weekly from the Tsukiji fish market in Japan. We're locally owned and located on SE 21st between Powell and Division within a vintage house. We have daily specials combining our chef's creativity with the freshest seafood available, including live scallops, live spot prawns, live clams, fresh uni, oysters, ankimo (monkfish liver), abalone, Oregon albacore tuna, amberjack, needledish, flying fish, big eye tuna, red sea bream, and more. Bara has a tatami room for intimate gatherings which is available for reservation for groups of five to nine people, as well as outdoor patio seating when weather allows.
